A year into their location at 378 Bleecker, Maria Cher, an Argentinean based label, has made its mark on the West Village with vibrant pieces that function as a staple but serve as a statement.

MariaCher Holiday/ Resort 2023 Collection, which launched in November, is composed of pieces inspired by nature, folkloric craftsmanship and turned into arrangements with patchwork origins.

María Cherñajovsky is the founder and creative force behind Maria Cher. The label which began its journey in Maria’s native Buenos Aires, has grown into a globally recognized name, with two locations in New York City on Madison Avenue and Bleecker Street.

María credits her vision to create clothes that are easy and eclectic but simultaneously understated. Her inspiration for the Resort 2023 collection derives from the glamour of the late 70’s coupled with the energy of the music scene of the early 80’s. Silhouettes, flattering proportions, with stand out prints are the focus.

Masculine tailoring with a focus on exaggerated shoulders and long kaftan dresses are two signatures of the brand and the signature Maria Cher jumpsuit, which is offered no matter the season in several styles to suit every figure and lifestyle.
